While working as a CPA in the late 1990’s, I had my first run in accumulating a 7-Figure Net Worth by leveraging large sums of money gained from real estate and stock holdings into a counterfeit version of one of the wealth strategies I now teach: Private Placement Programs (PPPs) – a strategy both unique and exclusive in its ability to amass huge sums of wealth in a short time while helping fund humanitarian and commercial passion projects.

Real Private Placement Programs (PPPs) allow ultra-high-net-worth individuals, by private invitation only, to amass significant wealth and are among the most closely guarded financial tools used by the world’s top banks. As with anything valuable, counterfeit versions abound—much like fake Rolexes.

The counterfeit PPP I got involved with burned a huge hole in my wallet. Then the technology bubble and 9/11 happened. I also suffered 18 months of unemployment and saw about a dozen of my real estate investments go into foreclosure since I didn’t have any income and my assets were depleted.

So, in 2003, I succumbed to the trifecta of financial blunders, and I filed for bankruptcy. It’s one of several low points in my life.

My wife and I were so broke that one year we made each other Christmas cards on the back of bubble gum wrappers. We were so poor we couldn’t afford to pay attention, and our TV had just two channels, ON and OFF!

Just five short years after that low point in 2003, my wife and I had accumulated over a Seven Figure Net worth with over Six Figures of mostly tax-free passive income.

How did we accelerate wealth creation to put ourselves in the enviable position of me being financially independent at the age of 34 in 2008? I can tell you that it didn’t happen like much of the 20-something-year-old internet millionaires you see today.

Simply put, my wife and I took the road less travelled. Rather than settle for the safety of a job in Corporate America, I started my own company and that allowed me to 10X my prior income as an employee.

I also ignored much of what I now call the “Mom and Dad Plan.” That’s all the traditional financial planning advice you got from your parents and that you get from much of the “talking heads” within the financial services industry.

As a former investment advisor and insurance professional, I can tell you that much of the financial services industry is rigged in favor of the industry and their “own.” Suffice to say that many times, the advice you get from trusted sources in this industry is not in your best interest.

I shared a lot of my discoveries and the path I used to shorten my financial independence timeline from 30 years down to 5 years in my Amazon Best Selling Book, Winning The Money Game: Separating The Myths From The Truth – Everything You Don’t Know About Achieving Financial Independence, which I released in 2012.

With more money than I knew what to do with, a best-selling book, a thriving investment and financial advisory practice, incredible TV, radio and print media exposure from my book release, it appeared that I was on top of the world. Or was I?

I wasn’t. Internally, I was dying a slow death as the drive for even more success and accumulating more money became the only thing I lived for. Simply put, I lost my way and my identity.

So, my Father in heaven took notice and decided something had to change. That

something was a series of betrayals that would wipe out multi seven figures of wealth and eventually reduce my income to about 10% of what it once was. The “crap” started rolling down the proverbial hill in 2014.

With one of those betrayals being a classic Bernie-Madoff-Type Ponzi scheme that investment advisory clients of mine and I were victims of, this created a rather uncomfortable situation for all involved, especially since the fraudster fled the country.

Two and a half years later, I’d find out that the SEC had filed complaints against me and my companies, attempting to hold me responsible for me and my clients’ losses. That complaint would kick of an almost two-year legal battle with the SEC.

With my funds quickly being depleted by my legal defense, I’d be forced to settle my case with the SEC on a neither admit nor deny basis in 2018. I paid over $300,000 and had my CFP and investment advisory licenses suspended. Media reports portrayed me as a villain, but the truth was more complicated and much less sinister.

With the loss of several professional licenses, all my assets, 90% of my income and my stellar professional reputation, I found myself on the verge of bankruptcy during the first half of 2019. By the grace of God and work with mentors and coaches, I pivoted into coaching, drawing from my personal growth.

I launched The Righteous Billionaire Movement and wrote my second book, "The Manifest Wealth Safely Method: A 3-Step Guide To Creating Wealth While Pursuing Purpose-Driven Passion Projects You Love That Change The World" in 2022.

While my pivot into coaching with the launch of my second book helped turn my financial fortunes around and rebuild a 7-figure net worth, the journey hasn’t gone so smoothly. False starts, investment setbacks and business betrayal led to more financial hardship—so much that I had to place my family on Medicaid. But I didn’t give up, I persevered, and I was rewarded.

In the second half of 2025, I stand on the precipice of another incredible financial comeback over the next 2 years. The only difference is rather than going from zero to millionaire by the year 2027, I’ll end up a billionaire by then. Perhaps this book should have been titled, From Medicaid to Multi-Millionaire to Billionaire, but I digress.

I could wait until 2027 to tell the world how I became a Billionaire in 2 years but instead I’ve decided it’s a lot more fun to take several people on the journey with me as I do so. You’ll hear about some of their stories on this page.

Today, I’m being mentored by a trio of billionaires that have provided me with access to legitimate PPPs generating risk-mitigated returns of 100% or more per month. Regulated hedge funds and unique wealth building vehicles abound. Financial Recovery is underway for both my clients and me.

Before 2030 I’ll have created and raised 10,000 Billionaire Leaders as part of my purpose-driven legacy-impacting project, the Righteous Billionaire Movement. I’ve seen God’s grace up close, and I know this calling isn’t just mine—it’s a movement.

It’s a movement that I expect will culminate with the creation of the Righteous Billionaire Forum— a global annual gathering of kingdom-minded billionaires committed to advancing God’s Kingdom agenda on Earth. This event will serve as a spiritual and strategic counterpart to the World Economic Forum. But instead of advancing humanistic or technocratic ideologies, the Righteous Billionaire Forum will bring together marketplace apostles, prophetic financiers, and righteous wealth creators to assess progress on global initiatives that reflect Heaven’s priorities: justice, restoration, and reformation.

My latest book, The Righteous Billionaire Strategy, reveals the principles and strategies that I’m using to turbo charge the vision behind the Righteous Billionaire Movement. It’s a Movement that will create people who in one word will be referred to as “world changers,” as they use The Billion Dollar Financial Strategies to facilitate The Billion Dollar Solution that solves The Billion Dollar Problem as outlined in this book.

These are people who will steward the financial and leadership capital attained within my Manifest Wealth Safely Program, to restore righteousness within the seven spheres of our culture, and to make our nation and really all nations great. It’s righteousness that exalts a nation and so that must be at the foundation of every great nation.
